Spiral Binding Coils and Wire-O Supplies

Binding coils are where YPS began, and we still supply them to printers, binderies and stationery manufacturers worldwide. Our PET coil is 100% recyclable, rated for at least two cycles and a match for traditional metal on strength, with reinforced ends that raise break resistance by around 50%. Every coil type we use in our own notebooks is available on its own.

YPS notebooks are made in small quantities, with more handwork than a production line allows. Pages are printed edge to edge with high-grade eco-friendly inks on smooth, lint-free 100gsm paper; covers are 157gsm scratch-resistant board with R8mm safe corners; tear-out sheets keep a 7mm margin so they come away clean; a world-first writable index page on 250gsm stock makes any page findable in seconds; and every plastic or metal coil is formed, colour-matched and finished in our own workshop. Books are trimmed to A4 and A5 within ±0.5mm. The result feels natural and unhurried in the hand — the opposite of the identical books an automated line produces by the thousand.

Can I order YPS notebooks without customization?

Yes. Designs from our notebook collection can be ordered as they are, or with a simple logo imprint or belly band. Contact us for current designs, pricing and lead times.

What can be customized on a notebook?

Cover material and artwork, inner page layout and printing, paper weight, size, coil type and colour, and branding and packaging. Extras such as our world-first writable index page, a storage pocket, tear-out sheets and R8mm rounded safe corners can also be specified. See our customization page for details.

Can I get a sample before placing an order?

Yes. Custom notebook orders include a design proof and a pre-production sample. Samples of ready-made notebooks and binding coils are also available on request.

Which binding options do you offer for notebooks?
